Funded Initiatives

Emergency Care Fund

Supports hospital facing financial hardships due to an unexpected crisis in their lives, such as a house fire or flood to long distance travel for family funeral and non-medical needs during a life-threatening illness.

Post-Trauma Resources

FLOW (Family, Life, and Occupational Wellness) is SC’s first resilience-based wellness program for first responders and their families. The Foundation provides access to those experiencing burnout, depression or post-traumatic stress.

Serenity Coves

We created relaxing environments to enhance employees’ mental well-being, available at the following locations:

  • Lexington Medical Center North & South Towers
  • Lexington Health Irmo
  • Lexington Health Lexington Urgent Care
  • Lexington Health Northeast
  • Lexington Health Saluda Pointe Urgent Care

The COVID-19 pandemic took a toll on everyone in the Emergency Department. The Foundation wholeheartedly supports our staff and provides a resource that helps us when we are not able to take care of ourselves.
