Meet the community leaders who serve on our Board of Directors.
Suzanne Pucci
Chair
Suzanne has served on the Foundation board since 2018. As chair of the McDaniels Golf Classic and Gala, Suzanne’s partnership with the Lexington Health Foundation has helped to significantly impact the lives of patients and families at the Lexington Health Cancer Center.
Suzanne is the founder and president of Scoop of Heaven Ice Cream, opening its first location on Spears Creek Church Road in July 2024. With a focus on supporting her community, Suzanne currently serves as Chair of the Lexington Health Foundation Board of Directors and has served previously on the South Carolina Small Business Regulatory Review Committee and the South Carolina Supreme Court Commission on Lawyer Conduct. She is dedicated to several other charitable initiatives, including Pawmetto Lifeline and Leeza’s Care Connection.
Jacqueline "Jackee" Moye
Vice Chair
Jacqueline is the Director of Operations at Gibson & Associates, an employee benefits firm that has served employers of all sizes for over 40 years. She has served since 2022 on the Lexington Health Foundation Board of Directors.
Jan Burt
Treasurer
Jan works at First Citizens in bank leadership. Her desire to give back led her to proudly serve on the Lexington Health Board of Directors and the Lexington Health Foundation Board of Directors. These valuable opportunities have allowed her to see firsthand how thoughtful leadership, committed caregivers, and mission -driven decision making can positively impact access to care, strengthen community health, and improve lives.
Melisa McLeod
Secretary
Melisa has been on the Lexington Health Foundation Board since 2022. She is a breast cancer survivor and understands the importance of support in the healing process which was provided by Lexington Health in 2019. Melisa owns McLeod Home Care, where she focuses on ensuring the happiness and comfort of seniors in their own homes.
Dr. John Spalding
Immediate Past Chair
Dr. Spalding has served on the Foundation board since 2012.
Meredith Amick
Grants Committee Co-Chair
Meredith is a registered Professional Engineer in South Carolina and has worked for the Department of Environmental Services for more than 20 years. She and her husband, Craig, own and operate Hollow Creek Distillery with the motto Faith, Family and Hard Work. She follows generations of family members working for and serving Lexington Health.
Katrina Goggins
Grants Committee Co-Chair
Katrina is a communications lead at Mid-Carolina Electric and an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina. She is an award-winning, nationally certified cooperative communicator. She has served on the Foundation board since 2024.
Jeremy Addy
Jeremy is owner of Lexington based Craig Reagin Clothiers. Since his appointment to the board, he has supported initiatives that enhance patient care and access to services including his family’s involvement in Fall for Lexington, an annual philanthropic event that raises funds and awareness for local causes benefiting Lexington Health Foundation.
Dr. Jim Benedict
Dr. Benedict joined Lexington Health in 2007 and is a practicing Hospitalist. He has been Medical Director of Lexington Hospitalists since 2017.
Paula Rawl Calhoon
Paula is a lifelong resident of Lexington County. She currently serves as a member of the SC House of Representatives. She previously volunteered (2011-2020) with Lexington Health as a member of the Lexington Health Volunteer Auxiliary. She has served on the Foundation board since 2020 and also serves on many other boards in the Lexington area.
Anuka Champaneri
Anuka is a real estate professional with a focus on property management and South Carolina housing law. She values ethical practices, leadership, and continuous learning. She has served on the Lexington Health Foundation Board since 2022.
Vaughan Dozier
Vaughan has served on the Foundation board since 2026.
Virginia Gates
Virginia has served on the Foundation board since 2025.
Clark Havird
Clark has served on the Foundation board since 2022.
Angela Klosterman
Angela is a Private Banker for First Citizens Bank. She is a lifelong resident of Lexington. She has always had a passion for serving her community and Lexington Health Foundation because she has seen first hand the support it provides.
Dr. Lauren Matthews
Dr. Matthews is a pediatrician at Lexington Pediatrics with a decade of experience caring for local children and a steadfast commitment to the Foundation’s mission of providing hope to patients, families, and the community. By joining the Foundation board, she aims to bridge clinical expertise with compassionate advocacy to ensure every family feels supported and encouraged throughout their healthcare journey.
Dr. Nick Mayes
Dr. Mayes is a fellowship trained radiologist from Duke with a passion for breast and oncologic imaging. He has been with Lexington Health since 2014 and is currently serving a second term as the Chief of Radiology.
Dr. Josh McCain
Dr. McCain has served on the Foundation board since 2024.
Terry Prosser
Terry is a 35 year resident of Lexington and US Navy Veteran. He is the VP of Operations at Century Glass. His passion for the Lexington Health Foundation stems from his experience with Lexington Health in 2017. He knows firsthand the impact award-winning Lexington Health has on this community.
Margaret Wallace
Margaret retired after a 40 year career in broadcasting. She has resided in SC for many years. With her nonprofit fundraising knowledge, she is a welcome addition to the Lexington Health Foundation Board.
Lindsey Yarborough
Lindsey is Client Relations Manager at Mashburn Construction, leading client partnerships and community engagement. A certified economic developer, she has driven strategic growth initiatives and served on the firm’s Executive Committee, while actively contributing to numerous regional boards and industry organizations statewide efforts.
